    Hey there,

    I’m trying to make some customizations to the theme through custom CSS, although encountering some issues. Whenever I write code in my child theme’s editor, no differences are made.

    For example, I wanted to change the opacity of the navigation squares in the home slider. So I opened my developer tools in Chrome to identify the CSS class of the squares, and got:

    ol class="flex-control-nav flex-control-paging

    Also, in the stylesheet, I noticed this style:

    #wide-slider .flex-control-paging {
    position: absolute;
    top: 20px;
    right: 10px;
    }

    So I copied this into my editor and added the line:

    opacity: 0.4;

    Nothing happened.

    I also adjusted the class identifier, so it was:

    flex-control-nav flex.control.paging

    But to no avail.

    Maybe I am implementing custom CSS in the wrong way? I’ve noticed with other themes as well I haven’t had much success in this regard.

    Thank you for your help,

    – Asher
